Gesso x Acumatica | Direct Acumatica Integration

Hi,

My name is Calvin Barrett and I'm the Strategic partnership manager here at Acro Commerce.

Today, I'd like to run through a bit of an example of what a Gesso and Acumatica integration would look like.

You might be thinking, “My VAR said that everything will work perfectly out of the box with a native Acumatica and ecommerce integration. Why would I need this?”

More often than not, this is not the case.

Realizing that there are limitations to the platform is a hard thing to admit, especially when you're trying to paint this perfect picture.

That's why we created Gesso, our decoupled accelerator that connects to both Acumatica directly and the ecommerce platform to complement each other and to handle the unique sales functionality that is required for each business. So, I've set up a little example for us today to walk through.

Here we have ABC Studios and I've gone through and created a couple of invoices through Acumatica's ERP system to be able to illustrate this here today. So, in the top portion, we have account details, addresses, orders, all things that you would generally just get through your ecommerce platform. However, invoices is one of those features where it doesn't work perfectly through a native connection. So what we've done is a direct integration with Acumatica's ERP.

I'm going to click on the invoices, it's going to be able to pull up invoices for me and from there, I'm able to interact with that Acumatica ERP system without having to challenge or work through the flow challenges of native integration between the ecommerce platform and Acumatica. So here we've got a wonderful access door and an air handling unit.

So, that's just a sneak peek at some of the features that are available when you have a direct integration with Acumatica.
