• John Carpenter's The Thing

It's a zombie apocalypse. What regular household item would you choose as a weapon and why?

• It's a classic, but I'd have to go with a baseball bat. It's lightweight and just long enough to smack a zombie away from me while I get to a safer place.

• I am a big Street Fighter fan and even compete in local and online tournaments.
   

Tell us about your first 30 days at Acro

Fitting into Acro during my first month working as a UX Designer has been a breeze. Coming from a background of mostly startups, it's a breath of fresh air to have a company actually support you and have the resources to do so. Everyone has been super accommodating and awesome to work with. My team has actively supported me during my onboarding and brought me up to speed with the process and how our team operates.

I instantly connected with people who have similar interests and hobbies. Connecting with my coworkers over Dungeons & Dragons, video games, and music really goes a long way with me. Honestly, just having a space to nerd out with your fellow nerds is an amazing thing.

Since starting at Acro, I have worked on multiple tasks for a variety of clients that are engaging and interesting. The wide assortment of clients and projects Acro is working on has really impressed me. Not only that, but it excites me to be able to work on these awesome projects. To say it again, it has been a breath of fresh air working at Acro.

During my first day visiting the office I kept hearing the phrase "You were meant to work here," and I truly believe that now. I'm a happy camper (I do enjoy camping), and I can't wait to see what my future looks like at Acro!
