The development of Drupal Commerce 2 has come a long way. We've had an official release for a while now and many of the sub-modules and add-on modules are coming along nicely.

A while ago, we contacted Steve Oliver and asked him to help us out. Steve has been developing Drupal for a long time (at the time of writing, his Drupal.org profile is 12 years, 3 months old). He's contributed to all aspects of Drupal, including Commerce, and is quite active in IRC and Slack, providing support.
